The Glory Game by: Frank Gifford
The Glory Game by: Frank Gifford is about the 1958 NFL Championship game between the Baltimore Colts and the New York Giants. The story is told by the Giants running back, defensive back, and wide reciever, Frank Gifford. There were many historical moments in that game, it was the only game to go into sudden-death overtime. "The NFL, as we know it today, began with the 1958 championship game."-John Madden.
So far, I am about half way done with the book, and I am really interested in it, because it talks about one of my favorite sports, football, and my favorite team, the New York Giants. The reason why I chose this book was because I have heard many interesting facts about the 1958 NFL Championship Game, and I wanted to find out what is was actually like for myself.
Who's your favorite sports teams?
